(: back from church and a great movie after that.
Shouldn't have worn those heels, my feet hurts like crazy now ):
Yesterday was a really tiring day..
But it ended well in a way.
So what if TKGSSB didn't get the first position. Our band did well enough for ourselves, though there is, as always, room for improvement.
I was dead nervous before and after the performance. I was praying so hard from the moment i woke up yesterday till the moment the results came out. But our band was cheering like crazy when we heard the scores. It's probably because there was a confusion whether we got the 1st or 2nd place ><
So, we get to play in this extra concert. And on August the 18th, another concert with a UK band in the anniversary event for our school.
Last night was also the last performance for our beloved sec 4s :'(
It's with no doubt that we received such a high score of 83 because of them..
& today in church, i teared when i was singing a hymn because i realise i'm missing God so damn much.
Don't give up, because He's full of suprising miracles.
The movie; Hellboy 2 (: REALLY COOL. I've been saying 'cool' way to many times. Probably say it again when I blog about The Dark Knight, if i get a chance to watch it~

it seems after my band concert, my life's still revolving around my CCA.
not saying it's a bad thing. but at least i found out how tired i can become. both physically & mentally.
the upcoming NBC (in only 6 days!) is NERVEWRECKING.
and after that, it'll be meeting a UK band for an exchange program.
exposure for SYF.
well. at least lunch break was interesting today (: not to mention Mr. Ong gave us A LOT of breaks after that ;D
it was a 'tour around TKGS' for thahira and me. AGAIN.
the last time, this was what happened:
arra and steph wanted to go photocopy a score outside, so thahira and me followed them for fun (& 'exercise').
when we came back, arra and steph were way ahead of us, and didn't hold the side gate open, which led to a series of unfortunate events -.-
so the side gate made a funny sound and locked itself, leaving the 2 of us stranded.
we were half shouting for arra or steph to get the guard.
of course, the both of them couldn't stop laughing.
that's when i said "I HAD IT!" and dragged thahira to walk to the front gate.
when we were halfway there, arra shouted "the side gate is open!".
so thahira and I ran towards the gate.
ARRA didn't hold the unlocked gate, so the gate closed again and locked itself.
WE MISSED IT BY THAT MUCH.
so tha and i walked from the side gate, back to the front gate again.
BUT
at least we got our exercise (:
this is what happened today:
we had combine in the hall (2nd floor).
usually during lunch break, i would follow thahira up to the 3rd story to get her wallet from the band office.
but today, she conveniently brought her wallet along, so we could just go straight down to the first.
but due to SOMEONE'S stupidity, we followed our juniors blindly to the 3rd story.
FOLLOW THE LEADER -.-
because certain staircases are closed on saturdays, we had to walk one big round to find a staircase which could lead us to the 1st floor.
when we finally got down to the 1st floor, we passed by the staircase (the one just outside the hall) and saw it was open.
so what could've been a short walk to that staircase down was stupidly turned into a tour around TKGS.
because of SOMEONE'S stupidity!
oh. i finished reading The Host. AWESOME BOOK ARRA! THANKS SO MUCH!
and i would like to thank everyone for my birthday presents or wishes, whether belated or not (:
